Shopify Stores Built for GCC Commerce.

Arabic-first storefronts, phone-first checkout, and the payment and shipping setup the Gulf actually uses — designed and built as one piece of work.

Shopify

A default Shopify theme is designed for a different shopper.

Shopify is the right platform for most GCC retail — it is stable, it handles tax and multi-currency, and it does not fall over during a campaign. What it does not give you is a storefront designed for how the Gulf buys. Out of the box you get a layout built for a US desktop shopper who completes checkout alone. The Gulf shopper is on a phone, reading Arabic, at eleven at night, and will send a WhatsApp question before paying. Everything we do to a Shopify store follows from that.

Scope

Nine things we do to a Shopify store.

01

Arabic and English storefronts

Both languages configured through Shopify Markets with their own URLs, metadata and product content — so Arabic is a real storefront, not a translation widget bolted on top.

02

True RTL, not a flipped theme

Theme CSS rebuilt on logical properties so the Arabic storefront mirrors correctly — carousels, price rows, quantity steppers, filters and the cart drawer all behave.

03

Mobile-first product pages

The product page is designed at phone width first: gallery, price, variants and the buy button reachable without scrolling, and the detail below it structured rather than dumped in one paragraph.

04

Conversion optimisation

Trust signals where the hesitation happens, shipping and return terms visible before the cart, and a checkout path measured and shortened rather than assumed to be fine.

05

WhatsApp on every product

A product enquiry button that opens WhatsApp with the product name, variant and SKU already written — so your team answers a specific question instead of asking which item.

06

Payment readiness

Mada, Apple Pay, Shopify Payments where your entity qualifies, Tabby and Tamara for instalments, and cash on delivery — configured and tested for the markets you sell into.

07

Shipping and fulfilment setup

Zones, rates and carrier accounts for GCC delivery, free-shipping thresholds set from your margin rather than copied from a competitor, and tracking the customer can actually read.

08

Product structure that scales

Collections, tags, metafields and variant logic designed for where the catalogue is going, not where it is today — so adding two hundred products does not require a rebuild.

09

Analytics that answer questions

GA4, Meta and TikTok events, plus a simple dashboard covering the six numbers that matter — so you know which step of the funnel is leaking before you spend on ads.

Audit

Already have a store?

We run a paid Shopify audit that covers speed and app load, the Arabic storefront, the mobile product and checkout path, payment and shipping configuration, and analytics accuracy. You get a written report with a prioritised fix list, and it is yours whether or not you go on to work with us. Most stores we audit are carrying three to six apps they do not need and losing a second of load time to each one.

  • Store architecture: collections, tags, metafields, navigation
  • Custom theme design or a heavily customised premium theme
  • Bilingual store with Shopify Markets configured
  • Product page template built for conversion, not decoration
  • Payment, shipping and tax setup for your target markets
  • Analytics, events and a conversion baseline before launch
  • Team training on running the store

Common questions

Common Shopify questions.

It depends on catalogue size and how distinctive the brand needs to be. A heavily customised premium theme is faster and cheaper and is the right answer for most stores under a few hundred products. A custom theme is worth it when the merchandising logic or the brand is genuinely unusual. We recommend one at the brief stage and explain why.

Yes. Products, collections, customers and order history migrate, and we map the old URLs to the new ones with redirects so you do not lose the search rankings you have built. The migration plan is written and agreed before anything moves.

Almost certainly not. Plus makes sense at high order volume or when you need checkout customisation and dedicated support. Most GCC stores we work with are well served by the standard or advanced plan, and the difference is better spent on the storefront.

Build or rebuild your store.

Send us your store URL and what is not working. We will tell you whether it needs a rebuild or a fix list.
